PRESS FORUM on HITv Cameroon With Yanick FONKI



As the countdown to the 2019/2020 academic year draws near, there’s growing uncertainty as to whether schools will effectively open its doors in the restive two English speaking regions of Cameroon. There’s no gainsaying that education has witnessed a hiccup in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon for the past three years.

As the new academic year draws to a close, there’s growing trumpeting for schools to be effective once again. It is in this regard that HiTv brought together education stakeholders to discuss the possibility of school resumption, as well as the stakes and challenges.

GLOBAL CARE OUTREACH TRAINS HEALTHCARE WORKERS ON HIV/AIDS COMMUNICATION



The Global Care outreach (GLOCARE), has beckoned on caregivers to be meticulous, yet humble in communicating HIV/AIDS-related issues to the public.
Medical Officials from the NGO made the appeal recently while schooling some healthcare providers on effective tools used in communicating Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs) issues.
The two-day training took place at the premises of the District Medical Office (DMO), Buea.

GLOCARE SENSITISES POPULATION ON EFFECTIVE USE OF MALE & FEMALE CONDOMS



Health workers from the Global Care International have beckoned on the population of Buea to frequently and properly use the male and female condoms so as to prevent STIs.

This was during a mass sensitization campaign carried in main streets and quarters of the municipality, Friday, July 19, 2019.
According to the health personnel, the campaign came against the backdrop of growing concerns over the prevalence of HIV/AIDS and other STIs.
